Academic Poster

It is paramount, in industry, that we continue research alternative theories and techniques in order to further our education as therapists.

Research is also essential in creating and developing treatments for medical conditions, weather its musculoskeletal or neurological diseases. It is also benefits the development of physical therapeutic techniques such as hydro and laser therapy, which I demonstrate in my academic poster.

Feedback

The feedback that I was given on my poster, was that there was a good use of colour which made my poster very eye catching. The flow of my poster was good which made it easy to read, there was also a good use of pictures which prevents it from becoming too word heavy. The improvements I could have made would have been to possibly interpret the results tables and diagrams myself to make them clearer and improve my understanding. I should have also added a reference to the researcher as that decreased my grade for this module. Overall I was happy with how my poster turned out, it also gave me a good based to produce other posters and presentations on for the following years.

This will benefit my work as a therapist as, in the future, I may have to present my work and findings if I develop on or decide to conduct my own research into new therapy techniques.
